To be honest I'm not a typical who read book full of poems that I can't even understand, especially when the poems are in English. But, Lang Leav -the poet- make poems so delicious to read that I can't even stop reading it over and over. So far Lang Leav have released 4 books, and I already finished 2 of them : Lullabies and Love & Misadventure. First thing first, I know Lang Leav from Pinterest. I like to read quotes from Pinterest, and name of Lang Leav ocassionally appear in quotes section. I'm so curious about the author (and her work), so I googling it and found out Lang Leav already released 4 books.
My so-far-favorite poem
Lang Leav has an ability to see inside the hearts and minds of her readers. There's something in her words that make everyday-scene feels so deep yet so true.
I highly recommend Lang Leav's books to people who are not very often exposed to poetry but feel an urge to read it. I think, even you normally dislike poems would be able to appreciate her poems. The occasional breaks from poetry into poetic prose is also something that beginners, like me, will love.
